Tomato Funitik F1 is a medium-late, indeterminate hybrid with a period from germination to fruiting of 120-125 days. Plants are strong-growing, highly branched, with short internodes, which contributes to compact bush formation. The first flower cluster forms above the 11th-12th leaf, and subsequent ones appear every three leaves. Flower clusters are simple, containing 4-5 fruits. It is recommended to form the plant as a single stem, removing suckers and lower leaves, as well as pinching the growth point at the end of the vegetative period for optimal development and yield. The fruits of tomato Funitik have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing, weighing 180-220 grams, with very tender and juicy flesh. They possess excellent flavor qualities, making this variety indispensable for preparing fresh summer salads. The tomatoes are bright red, multi-chambered, resistant to cracking, but do not exhibit high transportability, thus they are best consumed fresh. Yield per plant reaches 4.5-5 kg. Hybrid Funitik is recommended for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as in protected ground. The optimal sowing time for seedlings is late February to early March, with transplanting in the phase of the first true leaf and mandatory supplemental lighting during seedling growth. Transplanting into greenhouses occurs at 50-55 days old, usually at the end of April, with mandatory plant support. Planting scheme is 40x60 cm, density — 2.0-2.2 plants per square meter. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
