Tomato Vostorzhenny

Technical Specifications

The 'Vostorghenny' tomato is a result of selective breeding conducted by the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Irrigated Vegetable and Melon Growing in collaboration with Ooo Seeda. This variety is categorized as a mid-late cultivar with a vegetation period ranging from 120 to 130 days. It is specifically engineered for high-output production, combining large fruit size with distinctive physiological characteristics.

Morphology and Yield Potential

The fruit displays a flat-round shape, providing structural stability during harvest and logistics. Each fruit exceeds 200 grams, marking it as a large-fruited commercial variety. The unique yellow-to-orange pigmentation reflects high carotenoid content, which adds value for both fresh consumption and premium processing markets. In optimal conditions, supported by irrigation and proper mineral management, the yield can reach 130–160 tons per hectare, positioning this variety as an effective solution for industrial vegetable cultivation.
