The tomato variety ENGÉ is mid-season and high-yielding, with a maturation period of 100 to 130 days after emergence. The plant is indeterminate, reaching heights of 140 to 180 centimeters, sometimes up to 280 centimeters. The bush requires support from strong stakes and regular pinching to form an optimal number of fruits. It is recommended to train the bush into one or two stems to obtain large fruits weighing over 1 kg; with more flower buds, the fruit mass usually ranges from 300 to 500 grams. Fruits have a round or slightly flattened round shape and bright red color. Average fruit weight is 300-400 grams, but under proper care, fruits weighing 1 to 1.7 kg are often found. The flesh is juicy, sweet, aromatic, with a thin skin and few seeds, allowing maximum flavor enjoyment. Due to its large fruit size, this variety is ideal for producing tomato juice, paste, and various sauces. The ENGÉ variety is characterized by high yield and good immunity, resistant to late blight and other common tomato diseases. It is easy to grow and can be successfully cultivated both in open ground and greenhouses.
