Opera F1 — early indeterminate tomato hybrid, intended for greenhouse cultivation. The vegetative period is approximately 100-105 days from germination to fruiting. Plants are robust, reaching a height of about 150 cm, compact, and well-branched. For optimal development, seedlings should be sown at the end of March to early April with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf, and transplanting seedlings into greenhouses should occur at the beginning to mid-May, when plants are about 40 days old. Plant formation is carried out on 1-2 stems, with a planting scheme of 40x60 cm.
Opera F1 fruits have a round shape, smooth surface, and bright red color without green spots. Fruit weight varies from 100 to 180 grams, they are multi-chambered and dense, ensuring excellent transportability and market appearance. Tomatoes have a harmonious flavor with a distinct tomato aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, and home canning. The hybrid sets fruit well even at high temperatures, contributing to a stable yield.
Opera F1 is characterized by high resistance to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporeiosis, and fusarium, significantly simplifying care and enhancing cultivation reliability. Yield per plant averages 5-5.5 kg, and under favorable conditions can reach up to 8.5 kg. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this hybrid is an excellent choice for early greenhouse tomato cultivation.
