Tomato "Elegant" is an early hybrid with a vegetation period of about 95-105 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant has a compact or semi-determinate growth habit, reaching a height of 70 cm to 1.3 m, making it suitable for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground. The plants exhibit good resistance to stressful conditions, tomato mosaic virus (TMV), fusarium wilt, and cladosporiosis, as well as moderate resistance to powdery mildew, ensuring a stable yield even under adverse conditions. The fruits of tomato "Elegant" vary in shape and size. Main fruits are large, round or slightly ribbed, bright red, weighing from 160 to 220 grams, making them attractive for fresh consumption and sale. Additionally, there are varieties with elongated fruits resembling cherry tomatoes, weighing about 30 grams, harvested in long clusters of 25 fruits. These fruits are dense with a tough skin, making them ideal for pickling and salting. The fruits have good transportability and maintain their market appearance during transit. The yield of tomato "Elegant" is high — up to 15-17 kg per square meter, making it profitable for commercial cultivation. The plant continues to bear fruit until frost, allowing green fruit collection even in October. It is recommended to maintain planting intervals of about 60x70 cm for optimal plant development and maximum yield. Due to its characteristics and versatility, tomato "Elegant" is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, including pickling and salting.
