High-Yielding Excellence from Breeder Lyubov Myazina

The 'Gladiator' tomato is a high-performance variety developed by the renowned breeder Lyubov Anatolyevna Myazina. Established within the Russian selection school, this indeterminate tomato has built a reputation for reliability, consistency, and exceptional fruit quality. Designed for both greenhouse production and open-field cultivation, it is a preferred choice for growers who prioritize heavy output alongside robust plant health.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

Classified as a mid-early variety with a vegetation cycle of 90–100 days, 'Gladiator' is an excellent performer for producers looking to secure an early market entry. Its indeterminate growth habit requires consistent trellising and pruning, but the reward is a high yield potential reaching 100–130 tons per hectare. This level of productivity makes it a highly viable commercial solution for intensive farming operations.

Market-Ready Fruit Characteristics

• Shape: Distinctive flat-round, uniform fruits that meet premium market standards.
• Size: Large fruits exceeding 200 grams, favored for fresh consumption.
• Structure: Multi-chambered (4–6 chambers) with a dense, fleshy texture that ensures excellent transportability and shelf life.

With its balance of large fruit mass and superior flavor, 'Gladiator' is equally suitable for the fresh produce market and industrial processing into premium juices or pastes. By choosing this variety, producers benefit from genetics that have been refined for stability and performance under diverse growing conditions, ensuring a reliable harvest season after season.
