Tomato DULCHE

French Breeding for the Professional Market

The 'Dulce' tomato from the renowned breeding house Vilmorin-Mikado is the choice for those who prioritize stability and top-tier market appeal. In the category of mid-to-late season hybrids (120-130 days to maturity), this variety stands out not for speed, but for its reliability, making it the preferred option for farms focused on supplying high-quality produce to retail chains.

Advantages and Key Features

The main strength of Dulce lies in its combination of firmness and impeccable appearance. The red fruit boasts outstanding transportability, which, for a professional grower, means minimal losses during long-distance shipping. Where other varieties might crack or lose shape, this hybrid maintains its structural integrity.

• Yield Consistency: French genetics from Vilmorin-Mikado guarantee predictability, even under fluctuating temperature conditions, which is critical during a long growth cycle.
• Commercial Potential: Ideally suited for the fresh market, where visual appeal and shelf life are key drivers of product pricing.
• Cultivation: While the hybrid requires careful attention to agricultural practices, it yields a high percentage of marketable produce, ensuring a solid return on investment.

Who should consider 'Dulce'? Primarily professional greenhouse operators and farmers who supply modern retail networks with strict grading requirements. If your strategy is to grow premium produce that arrives in perfect condition, this French hybrid is a powerful asset for your operations.
