Tomato Donjose F1

Stable yields with a French touch

The «Donjose F1» tomato from the French breeding company Clause is a top choice for growers who prioritize the balance between commercial appearance and culinary quality. The indeterminate growth habit allows for maximum greenhouse space utilization, ensuring continuous fruit set throughout the season.

Key advantages

• Weight and caliber: Fruits weighing over 200 grams feature an ideal round shape, making them stand out in any retail setting.
• Immune shield: High resistance to Verticillium, Fusarium, Cladosporium, and Tomato Mosaic Virus reduces the need for aggressive chemical protection.
• Logistical potential: Thanks to its firm skin and an exceptional shelf life of over 30 days post-harvest, «Donjose F1» is a rare find—a large-fruited tomato that tolerates long-distance transportation without loss of quality.

With a maturation time of up to 90 days, it qualifies as a mid-early hybrid. It demands quality care and regular fertilization, as producing such substantial fruit puts significant energy requirements on the plant. If you are targeting the fresh market, where customers value deep red color and firm texture, this hybrid will exceed your expectations.

For beginners, the requirement for pruning and trellising inherent to indeterminate types might be a challenge. However, for professional farmers, these are standard technological practices that pay off with high-grade, marketable yields.
