Tomato CHOCOLATINES

Why «Chocolatini» by Greenomica is a top choice for commercial growers

The indeterminate tomato «Chocolatini» is a professional tool for farmers targeting the premium and cherry segments. Under greenhouse conditions, this hybrid displays the consistency essential for conveyor-belt production.

Practical use cases

• Fresh market and HoReCa: Thanks to their unique brown color and two-chamber structure, these fruits are ideal for high-end restaurant service. The market appeal is maintained during transit, and the fruit weight (20-40g, up to 80-100g in specific conditions) makes them perfect for standard 250g packaging.
• Commercial production: With a ripening period of up to 90 days, growers can schedule plantings to ensure a continuous supply. The indeterminate growth habit requires trellising and pruning to 1-2 stems, which optimizes agronomic maintenance and harvesting efficiency.

Practical experience indicates that «Chocolatini» performs best under drip irrigation with a precise fertigation schedule. The flattened-round shape ensures compactness, reducing the risk of damage during manual packaging. It is the right choice for those seeking a balance between the aesthetics of a «brown» tomato and the high productivity characteristic of professional Greenomica hybrids.
