Smile

Tomato Smile is a medium-late variety with large bicolor fruits weighing 700-800 grams. The fruits have a flattened shape and dense orange flesh with bright raspberry rays from the center. The flesh is aromatic, juicy, and has a rich sweet-spicy flavor without being watery. The plants are compact, up to one meter tall, with a classic structure, making care and harvesting easier. Although the yield is moderate, all fruits are exceptionally large and of excellent quality.

For growing this variety, plastic or glass-covered greenhouses and plastic tunnels are recommended. Indeterminate plants reach a height of about 1.7-2 meters and require training into a single stem with removal of suckers and tying. Sowing seedlings is carried out at the end of February to early March, with mandatory supplemental lighting during the growing period. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses at 50-55 days old. The first flower forms above the 11th-12th leaf, followed by subsequent flowers every three leaves. Fruits are harvested in clusters, which facilitates long-term storage and easy harvesting.

Tomato Smile is suitable for fresh consumption due to its rich flavor and aroma, as well as for whole-fruit canning and pickling. The fruits have small seed chambers and gel-like juice that does not drip when cut. High density and strong attachment of fruits to the clusters ensure long storage and transportation.
