Tomato EQUATOR is a medium-early determinate hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The ripening period is approximately 101-110 days from emergence. The plant is of medium size, reaching a height of up to one meter, and requires mandatory support on vertical stakes or trellises, as well as partial pinching up to the first flower cluster to form the bush.

The fruits of tomato EQUATOR are round, dense, and ribbed, with a weight ranging from 150 to 180 grams. In the ripe stage, they acquire an attractive red color, while unripe fruits are light green. The tomatoes have good flavor, high storability, and transportability, making them convenient for storage and transportation. The leaves of the plant are large, green to dark green.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases such as verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, and tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). The yield of marketable fruits when grown in open ground with drip irrigation reaches 11.7 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics, tomato EQUATOR is suitable for salad use and provides a stable and high-quality harvest.
