The Cefeya variety was created by breeder Dale Tuerber through cross-pollination of two giant tomato varieties — Brutus Magnum and Big Zac — ensuring record fruit sizes and high yield. Tomato clusters can weigh up to 2 kg, and the fruits are fleshy and practically seedless, which is especially valued for culinary use. The name of the variety is associated with the red hypergiant in the Cepheus constellation, highlighting the impressive size and outstanding characteristics of this tomato.
