CHELSEA

Tomato Chelsea is an early-maturing semi-determinate hybrid with a fruiting period from germination to first fruiting of 90–102 days. Plants are strong, reaching a height of 1.4–1.5 meters when grown as a single stem, with a simple cluster, the first of which forms above the seventh leaf. Planting density is about 4 plants per square meter, ensuring optimal yield of 18–20 kg per square meter.

The fruits of tomato Chelsea have a round-convex shape, smooth and firm surface, pink color, and a weight of about 180–200 grams. The hybrid is characterized by high fruit set, low susceptibility to cracking, which contributes to good storage and long-distance transport. The flavor quality of the fruits is high, making this variety attractive to consumers.

Tomato Chelsea is resistant to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), cladosporiosis, and verticillium wilt, which increases cultivation reliability. It is recommended for cultivation both in open ground on trellises and in plastic greenhouses.
