Tarquito

Tarquito — mid-early determinate tomato hybrid of the Marmande (Cuore di Bue) type, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses during spring-summer and autumn cycles. This hybrid features a strong and compact plant with a regular habit throughout the entire vegetation period, ensuring stable fruit set.

Tarquito fruits have the typical shape and ribbing characteristic of the Cuore di Bue variety, featuring dense structure, excellent flavor, and aroma. Fruit weight ranges from 280 to 300 grams. The hybrid has high transportability while maintaining its flavor and commercial qualities, making it attractive for fresh market sales.

A key feature of Tarquito is its high genetic resistance to major tomato diseases. The hybrid exhibits immunity and high resistance to pathogens such as TSWV, Ma, Mi, Mj, ToMV, Pf, Va, Vd, and For. This allows for cultivation with minimal losses and reduces the need for chemical protection.
