CASCADE RED

CASCADE RED — this is an early-maturing variety of red cherry tomatoes, characterized by high yield and excellent taste. The fruits have a bright red color, plum shape, and medium density, with each tomato weighing 20 to 25 grams. They are juicy, meaty, and sweet with a slight fruity note, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as canning, freezing, and processing.

The plants are tall with strong bushes and fan-shaped clusters, each bearing 10 or more fruits. Fruit production continues until the end of the season, ensuring a stable and prolonged harvest. This variety is well-suited for cultivation both under plastic coverings and in open ground, with recommended support on stakes and training the plants into single-stem forms, removing suckers for better development.

Sowing for seedlings is done at the beginning of March, transplanting — when the first true leaf appears. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses and polytunnels in May, spaced 40x60 cm apart. Cascade Red is resistant to major tomato diseases, simplifying care and increasing the chances of a good harvest. Seeds retain viability up to 10 years under proper storage conditions, making this variety a convenient and reliable choice for gardeners.
