Tomato FLORIDA PETIT

Florida Petit tomato is a medium-early decorative variety of American selection, distinguished by a compact and neat bush up to 30 cm tall. The plant is a stem type, does not require pinching, staking, or support, making care easier and making it ideal for growing indoors, on balconies and loggias, as well as in open ground and greenhouses. Thanks to its resistance to drought, temperature fluctuations, and low light, the variety adapts well to different climatic conditions and can bear fruit year-round.

The fruits of the Florida Petit tomato are small, round, light-red, weighing from 15 to 40 grams, with a pleasant sweet taste. They form in large quantities on clusters, ensuring a high yield with minimal care. Tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, and also excellent for whole-fruit canning and decorating dishes due to their decorative quality.

Growing this variety is simple: seeds can be sown directly into the ground in early May under cover, with soil mulching after transplanting seedlings. The recommended planting scheme is 20x20 cm. Watering should be regular, about once a week with fertilizers, promoting good growth and fruiting. Thanks to its qualities, Florida Petit is an excellent choice for those who want to get a beautiful and tasty tomato with minimal labor.
