MADAME POMPADOUR

Tomato Madame Pompadour is a fast-maturing determinate hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments. The plant is compact, reaching a height of 80 to 100 cm, and begins fruiting on day 85-90 after germination. The first flower cluster forms above the sixth leaf, with subsequent clusters appearing every one or two leaves. It is recommended to grow the plant with 3-4 stems at a planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter. The fruits of tomato Madame Pompadour are round and bright red. Each tomato weighs 180-220 grams, has a firm skin, ensuring good transportability. The flesh is very juicy, sweet with a slight acidity, making it suitable for fresh salads as well as for making juices, sauces, and tomato paste. The fruits contain a significant amount of lycopene, sugars, and dry matter, enhancing their flavor and nutritional value. The hybrid is characterized by high yield — in open ground, it yields 17-19 kg per square meter, and in protected environments, it reaches 21-24 kg. Madame Pompadour is resistant to tomato mosaic virus and brown spot, and tolerant to phytophthora, allowing it to successfully withstand temperature fluctuations and adverse environmental conditions.
