Tomato MADAME POMPADOUR

Tomato Madame Pompadour is a fast-maturing determinate hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments. The plant is compact, reaching a height of 80 to 100 cm, and begins fruiting on day 85-90 after germination. The first flower cluster forms above the sixth leaf, with subsequent clusters appearing every one or two leaves. It is recommended to grow the plant with 3-4 stems at a planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter. The fruits of tomato Madame Pompadour are round and bright red. Each tomato weighs 180-220 grams, has a firm skin, ensuring good transportability. The flesh is very juicy, sweet with a slight acidity, making it suitable for fresh salads as well as for making juices, sauces, and tomato paste. The fruits contain a significant amount of lycopene, sugars, and dry matter, enhancing their flavor and nutritional value. The hybrid is characterized by high yield — in open ground, it yields 17-19 kg per square meter, and in protected environments, it reaches 21-24 kg. Madame Pompadour is resistant to tomato mosaic virus and brown spot, and tolerant to phytophthora, allowing it to successfully withstand temperature fluctuations and adverse environmental conditions. These features make this tomato an excellent choice for gardeners aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality harvest.
