Tomato Amadey

Focus on Shelf Life and Exclusive Appearance

The «Amadey» tomato, developed by the Tomagros breeding and seed production firm, is a solution for agricultural enterprises targeting the premium vegetable market and long-distance logistics. In intensive vegetable farming, this variety meets the demand for produce that maintains its marketability for over 30 days post-harvest.

Agronomic Profile and Productivity

The originators (Evgeniya Andreeva, Maria Ushakova, Angelica Andreeva) have engineered «Amadey» with high productivity potential. When proper cultivation technologies are applied, yields reach 100–130 tons per hectare, making it a viable option for industrial-scale cultivation in both open fields and plastic tunnels.

Fruit Specifics: Color and Durability

The defining feature of «Amadey» is its complex coloration, ranging from rich yellow to deep brown hues. This characteristic allows producers to stand out on the market, offering consumers a product suitable for culinary innovation and gourmet presentation. Crucially, this aesthetic appeal does not come at the cost of logistics: the fruits are highly dense, which simplifies transport over long distances.

• Long-term Sales: A shelf life of over 30 days allows farmers to avoid offloading crops at low prices during peak season, enabling them to wait for market stabilization.
• Use Cases: The variety is ideal for the fresh market, the HORECA sector, and boutique farm shops where unique appearance is a value-add.
• Technological Advantage: Resistance to cracking and superior transportability significantly minimize post-harvest losses.

By choosing seeds from Tomagros, producers gain a predictable outcome backed by rigorous research. «Amadey» is an effective tool for managing profitability through quality and a unique product proposition.
