Abellus F1

Tomato Abellus F1 is a high-yielding indeterminate hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. It features an early maturation period, allowing the first harvest to be collected as early as 68–90 days after planting. The tall plant type ensures a prolonged fruiting period and high yield potential, making this hybrid suitable for both open-field and unheated greenhouses. Abellus F1 demonstrates excellent adaptability to various growing conditions and responds well to mineral fertilizers, moderate watering, and growth regulation during fruit ripening. The tomatoes of Abellus F1 have a flat-round shape, bright red, uniform color, and shiny, firm skin. The average fruit weight is 160–180 grams. The flesh is juicy, with excellent taste and aroma, and the fruits are not prone to cracking, which greatly facilitates transportation and storage. Thanks to these qualities, tomatoes are suitable for fresh market sales, home cooking, and processing into juice. The hybrid exhibits broad resistance to several common diseases, including cladosporiosis, nematodes, fusarium, verticillium, and tomato mosaic virus. This resistance reduces the risk of crop loss and minimizes the need for frequent chemical treatments, contributing to the production of healthy and high-quality produce. High yield, reaching up to 27 kg per square meter with drip irrigation, makes Abellus F1 an attractive choice for farmers aiming for stable and early tomato harvests.
