Pukhlye Shchechki

Tomato variety "Pухlые щечки" is a medium-ripening and medium-early variety with flat-round, deep-pink fruits. Each tomato weighs from 160 to 350 grams, depending on growing conditions, with flesh that is particularly sweet and juicy with a distinct tomato flavor. These fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, summer salads, as well as for making juice, sauces, and pasta, thanks to their high content of beneficial and nutritious substances.

Plants of this variety grow up to 70 cm tall and require training to a single stem with removal of all suckers to ensure optimal growth and fruiting. Plants are tied to supports, and at the end of the vegetative period, the growing tip is pinched off. The variety is resistant to major tomato diseases, which simplifies care and increases yield.

Growing begins with sowing seeds for seedlings in March, with transplanting in the phase of the first true leaf. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses or open ground at the end of April or early-to-mid May, when plants are 40-48 days old. Seeds of this variety retain viability for up to 10 years, making it convenient for long-term use.
