LUDOVIC XVII

Tomato Ludovic XVII is a medium-early variety with a fruiting period from germination to harvest of about 105-110 days. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of 50-60 cm, making it suitable for cultivation in open ground, on balconies, or in containers. The bushes have an attractive habit and decorative dark green small leaves, which further enhance the appearance of the planting.

The fruits of tomato Ludovic XVII have a characteristic pear shape and a vibrant red-orange color. Fruit weight varies from 50 to 80 grams, depending on growing conditions. The fruits have a firm skin and juicy flesh, ensuring long-term storage on the plant without loss of quality. They are suitable for both fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning. The taste quality of the fruits is rated as good.

The plant is a bush-type, determinate variety, with an intermediate flower type, forming flowers above the 8th-9th leaf, followed by subsequent flowers every 1-2 leaves. The peduncle has a joint, facilitating harvest. Yield per plant is about 2-2.3 kg, reaching 6-7 kg per square meter when grown under plastic coverings. Seed sowing is recommended in late March to early April, followed by transplanting in the first true leaf stage, and transplanting seedlings in May-June with an interval of about 30 cm.
