Tomato Triumph

Prioritizing Stability and Uniformity

The Triumph tomato is a strategic choice for producers focusing on long-term cultivation cycles and requiring predictable yields. As an indeterminate variety, it requires systematic pruning and staking, making it an excellent candidate for greenhouse operations or high-tech tunnel farming. With a maturity period of 120–130 days, it falls into the mid-to-late category, primarily targeted at harvesting in the late summer and autumn seasons.

Agronomic Performance and Fruit Quality

The plum-shaped fruits, averaging 150–200 grams, represent a gold standard for commercial production. This specific geometry ensures efficient packing for transport and streamlined processing or retail presentation. Due to their dense internal structure and multi-chambered design (exceeding six chambers), the fruits are highly resistant to cracking and maintain their shelf appeal significantly longer post-harvest.

• Crop Management: As an indeterminate plant, the variety reaches its peak performance when pruned to 1–2 stems.
• Harvest Efficiency: Excellent fruit uniformity minimizes sorting waste, increasing overall profitability.
• Market Application: Ideally suited for the fresh produce market, the size is also perfect for whole-fruit canning.

Developed through collaboration between the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics and Agrofirma Rostok, this variety demonstrates high reliability when provided with proper nutritional regimens. For agricultural businesses, this means fewer developmental setbacks: the variety responds predictably to fertilization and irrigation protocols, which is vital for maintaining consistent production goals within commercial operations.
