Podarochnyi

Podarochnyi Tomato — a medium-early determinate variety, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. Fruit ripening occurs 112–116 days after emergence of seedlings. Plants reach a height of 60–70 cm, facilitating care and harvest. The variety is characterized by high resistance to heat, cold, drought, and diseases, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions.

The fruits of the Podarochnyi tomato are round in shape with a smooth surface. Immature fruits are green, while mature fruits develop a deep red hue. Average fruit weight is 115–120 g, occasionally reaching 150 g. They are distinguished by large size, uniformity, good transportability, and resistance to cracking. The flesh is dense with a pleasant sweet taste, making them ideal for fresh consumption, slicing, and processing into tomato products such as juice, ketchup, and tomato paste.

The Podarochnyi variety is valued for its excellent fruit storability, which allows fruits to be stored for up to two months under proper conditions. It is recommended to transplant seedlings into open ground in May, and to sow seedlings in March. Due to its qualities and versatility, this tomato is suitable for both home cultivation and commercial production, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
