KSANTERO is a medium-early, indeterminate tomato hybrid designed for extended cropping and cultivation under light culture conditions. The plant exhibits vigorous growth and balanced development, ensuring effective fruit formation and ripening. Leaves are of medium length and green color, with resistance to artificial lighting, making the hybrid particularly suitable for greenhouse conditions. Flowers are simple and sturdy, with 4 to 5 fruits forming on each cluster.
KSANTERO fruits have a flat-round, slightly flattened shape with a weight ranging from 220 to 267 grams. Unripe fruits are green, while ripe fruits develop an intense red hue. Tomatoes exhibit high uniformity within clusters and minimal non-standard produce, enhancing their market appeal. The fruits have a good flavor and medium density, making them suitable for salad use.
The hybrid shows high resistance to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, verticillium and fusarium wilt, root fusarium, and true powdery mildew. In winter greenhouses under extended cropping, marketable yield reaches 32.1 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity of the variety. KSANTERO is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including Northern, Central, Ural, and Far Eastern areas.
