Solo F1

Sweet corn Solo F1 is an early-maturing hybrid with excellent taste and high yield. The plant is medium-height, reaching 150 to 200 cm, with a straight, sturdy stem. The vegetation period is approximately 70-85 days, allowing harvest in July-August. The ears of corn are 15-18 cm long, composed of dent or semi-dent yellow kernels, possessing extraordinary sweetness and tenderness, making them ideal for boiling, canning, and freezing. Yield reaches 1.5-2.0 kg per square meter, and up to 13 tons per hectare when grown on large areas.

Growing Solo F1 corn requires adherence to specific agronomic conditions. Seeds are sown in the ground in May, after the threat of frost has passed, at a depth of 3-5 cm, with a density of 2-3 seeds every 30-40 cm in a row. The plant is heat-loving and does not tolerate frost, so it is recommended to sow in multiple batches with a two-week interval to extend the harvest period. Seedlings emerge within 4-8 days, and young plants require regular watering and soil loosening. Ears are harvested at the milky-white ripeness stage, when the kernels have not hardened.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to diseases and pests, simplifying care and reducing the risk of crop loss. Due to its stress tolerance and adaptability to open-ground conditions, Solo F1 corn is suitable for both home cultivation and commercial production. In addition to culinary use, corn kernels can be used in cooking for salads and other dishes, as well as for processing and freezing, making this variety versatile and popular among gardeners and farmers.
