Sweet Corn Sentinel

The SENTINEL F1 sweet corn hybrid is a mid-season hybrid developed by the French breeding company Clause, adapted to various climatic conditions. The vegetation period is 78-83 days, allowing for harvest at convenient times. The plants are robust, reaching a height of 1.7-1.9 meters, with broad and long leaves, forming 1-2 well-filled and well-covered ears. The hybrid quickly adapts to changes in growing conditions and exhibits resistance to a wide range of diseases, including rust, helminthosporium, and mosaic virus, reducing the risk of yield loss and minimizing the need for chemical protection.

The ears of SENTINEL sweet corn are 22-23 cm long and 5-6 cm in diameter, weighing 230-280 grams. The kernels are uniform, shiny, and deep yellow, arranged in 16-18 rows. High sugar content ensures excellent taste qualities, making this hybrid ideal for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing. The harvest retains its market appearance for a long time, does not lose nutritional value or sweetness, and withstands storage and transportation well.

The SENTINEL F1 hybrid features strong and healthy plants with excellent ear coverage, contributing to high product marketability. Thanks to its high adaptability and disease resistance, this variety is an optimal choice for cultivation in various regions, ensuring a stable and high-quality sweet corn harvest with an attractive appearance and outstanding taste.
