Description GOLDEN BATAM
Sweet corn variety Golden Batam is a mid-early variety that reaches maturity approximately 75 days after seedling emergence. The plant grows to a height of 160–180 cm, with the first ear formed at a height of 50–55 cm from the stem base. The stem is straight with long green leaves that have pointed edges. Up to seven ears can form on one plant.

Sweet corn ears have a cylindrical or slightly conical shape, about 19–22 cm long and weighing up to 200 g. The kernels are bright yellow, arranged in 13–15 rows, and are characterized by juiciness and natural sweetness. These qualities make the variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption, as well as for boiling and canning. Taste characteristics of boiled corn are highly rated due to the tenderness and sweetness of the kernels.

The yield of the Golden Batam variety is stable, amounting to approximately 1.3–1.4 kg per square meter. Due to the combination of high productivity, excellent taste qualities, and versatility of use, this variety is ideal for growing during the summer period and ensures a good harvest in July.
