Sunflower DR 13 is a mid-early hybrid of Serbian selection, adapted for Clearfield cultivation technology, providing resistance to the herbicide Euro-Lighting. This hybrid is characterized by moderate growth intensity and relatively low height — from 160 to 170 cm. The head is thin, convex-shaped, with a diameter of 20-23 cm, which promotes effective yield formation. The recommended plant density at harvest is 55-60 thousand per hectare, optimizing the productivity of the crop.
DR 13 is characterized by high yield, reaching a potential of 5.7 tons per hectare, which is one of the best indicators among hybrids resistant to Clearfield. The oil content of the seeds ranges from 51-53%, and protein content — 16-18%, indicating high quality of the obtained raw material. The maturation period of the hybrid is 109-113 days, allowing effective planning of agronomic activities and timely harvest.
Sunflower seeds DR 13 are produced in Ukraine based on parental lines from the Institute of Field Crops in Novi Sad, guaranteeing stable quality and adaptation to local growing conditions. The Serbian selection, represented by this hybrid, enjoys well-deserved popularity due to its proven reliability and high productivity. The hybrid is suitable for all cultivation zones, making it a universal choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality sunflower yields.
