VK 101 VS is a sunflower hybrid developed using advanced Sumo technology, providing resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, such as BASTEN and Granstar. The hybrid is produced by the Ukrainian company ART-AGRO. The hybrid has a medium maturity period of approximately 101–104 days, with a vegetative period of 104 days, allowing effective use in various climatic zones, including steppes, forest-steppes, and meadows.
Plants reach a height of up to 170 cm and exhibit high resistance to diseases and stress factors such as drought and cold. VK 101 VS demonstrates high productivity — up to 55–56 centners per hectare — making it a profitable choice for agricultural producers. Additionally, the hybrid has a high oil content in seeds — around 51% — enhancing its economic value.
The hybrid is available in 8 kg packages and is intended for field use with Sumo technology, which provides effective protection against weeds and parasitic plants.
