Sunflower NA 108 A is a medium-maturing simple hybrid of the linoleic type, adapted for the EuroLighting technology. Plants of this hybrid have medium height and a well-developed root system, which contributes to forming a large number of seeds in the head. The hybrid is characterized by high drought and lodging resistance, as well as tolerance to common leaf and head diseases, including new 7 strains of downy mildew.
This intensive-type hybrid has high stability and resistance to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, as well as to new strains of A-G+ weeds. The thousand seed mass varies depending on the fraction: the standard fraction has a mass of 52-56 grams, while the extra fraction has 65-78 grams. The yield potential of the hybrid reaches 58 centners per hectare, with oil content in the seeds around 55%, making it attractive for producing high-quality sunflower oil.
Hybrid NA 108 A is well-adapted to various soil types and climatic conditions in Ukraine, ensuring stable and high yields. Recommended cultivation zones include the forest-steppe and steppe regions of Ukraine. Due to selection by a Ukrainian producer, the hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to external conditions and cultivation methods, allowing efficient use in various agrotechnical systems.
