The NS H 6316 sunflower hybrid is a medium-early variety with a vegetative period of 107-110 days, characterized by high yield exceeding 58 c/ha. The plant reaches a height of 150-160 cm, possesses a powerful and branched root system capable of utilizing soil moisture down to a depth of 2.5 meters, ensuring drought tolerance. Leaves are of medium size and green color, fully covering the soil at the beginning of the budding phase, while the head is thin, convex, with a diameter of 21-25 cm, and a seed setting rate of 100%. Seeds are black in color, elongated in shape, with a 1000-seed mass of 60-80 g. The hybrid exhibits genetic resistance to A, B, C, D, and E races of the sunflower parasite (Orobanche cumana), as well as to powdery mildew controlled by the PI6 gene, rust, and sunflower moth. Thanks to these characteristics and high resistance to broad-leaved weeds, particularly thistles, cultivating NS H 6316 becomes more efficient and economically beneficial. The plant does not branch, which simplifies care and harvest collection, while the cultivation technology includes Clearfield and Clearfield Plus systems. The oil content in the hybrid's seeds is 49-50%, making it attractive for the oilseed industry. The recommended plant density per hectare is 60,000-65,000, which contributes to maximum utilization of agro-ecological conditions. NS H 6316 easily adapts to various soil and climatic conditions, allowing for successful cultivation in diverse regions. Attractiveness to pollinators additionally contributes to stable yield formation.
