PREMIER is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid distinguished by its high oil content and technological properties. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of 120–140 cm, does not branch, and has dense foliage. The leaves are large, heart-shaped, and a rich green color. The head is large and filled with sufficiently large seeds with low hulling, making them suitable for confectionery products. The oil content in the seeds reaches 50.2%, ensuring high economic efficiency of cultivation.
The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging, which contributes to crop preservation and simplifies harvesting. Average yield in various regions ranges from 11.5 to 21.6 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators reaching 38.9 c/ha in the Central Chernozem region. PREMIER is recommended for cultivation in the Central, Central Chernozem, Lower Volga, Middle Volga, Ural, and Western Siberia regions, confirming its adaptability to various climatic conditions.
In addition, the PREMIER sunflower has decorative qualities: the flowers have a diameter of 15 to 20 cm and a bright yellow-orange color, allowing it to be used not only in agriculture but also for garden decoration and creating floral compositions. The plant prefers neutral or alkaline soils with a pH above 6.5, which should be considered when choosing a planting site to achieve maximum productivity.
