Heliodor

HELIODOR is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid characterized by high oil content and adapted for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region. The plant is of medium height with no branching, has medium-sized green leaves with slight blistering. Flowers are yellow: ligules are narrowly ovate, tubular florets have an anthocyanin hue on the stigmas. Seeds are characterized by the absence or weak expression of stripes. The hybrid demonstrates high yield – on average 23.9 c/ha, which exceeds the standard by 5.4%, and on individual plots the yield reached 40.9 c/ha. The average oil content in seeds is 52.4%, which ensures oil collection at the level of 11.2 c/ha, indicators higher than standard values.
