LIDER sunflower hybrid is a high-yielding annual plant with a vegetative period of about 105 days. Plants reach a height of 140 to 180 cm and have a uniform structure in terms of height and developmental stages. The head diameter is 22-24 cm, and the weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 67 to 74 g. LIDER is distinguished by its high oil content in seeds — 49-51%, while hullingness is 21-22%. Thanks to its powerful root system, capable of penetrating the soil to a depth of up to 140 cm and a width of up to 120 cm, the hybrid demonstrates resistance to drought, shedding, and lodging, ensuring stable yields.

LIDER hybrid possesses resistance to a range of diseases, including rust, phomopsis, white and grey molds, as well as seven races of dodder. Average yield ranges from 3.9 to 4.1 t/ha, while in the forest-steppe zone, it can reach 4.7 t/ha. The hybrid responds well to fertilizer application and is recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions. Sunflower LIDER belongs to the composite family and is characterized by large oval-heart-shaped leaves and multi-flowered heads with orange-yellow ray florets and tubular disc florets.
