Sunflower Odor

Focusing on Early Maturity and Oil Content

For agricultural operators, "Odor" serves as a benchmark for reliability. Developed by the Selection and Genetics Institute (Ukraine), this hybrid is engineered to maximize efficiency in the field. With a growing season ranging from 90 to 110 days, it offers the flexibility needed to optimize crop rotation schedules and ensure timely harvest cycles.

Operational Performance and Handling

• Plant Height: The range of 90–150 cm allows for adjustment to local moisture conditions. This physical structure simplifies harvester head calibration, effectively reducing mechanical losses during the threshing process.
• Seed Morphology: The black, spherical-elongated seeds of medium size are designed for excellent flowability. This minimizes the risk of bridging in grain drills and hoppers, ensuring a smooth and consistent planting rate.
• Oil Yield: With an oil content of 45–50%, this hybrid provides consistent results for processing, ensuring predictable margins and high-quality raw material output.

Managing the "Odor" hybrid is straightforward and avoids the need for complex, resource-heavy protocols. Its structural integrity provides resistance to lodging, which reduces operational risks when harvesting under difficult weather conditions. The uniform maturation ensures that combine operators can maintain steady ground speeds without frequent adjustments to the threshing mechanism. Ultimately, "Odor" is a practical choice for those who value field-tested performance and simple maintenance, delivering a robust yield without unnecessary agricultural overhead.
