Sunflower SX 808 A HH 1002 B

Technical Profile of the СХ 808 Sunflower Hybrid

Developed by the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute, the СХ 808 hybrid is engineered for intensive farming systems. Its biological architecture features a plant height of 170–180 cm, designed to optimize mechanical harvesting and minimize crop losses, while maintaining a competitive growth cycle of 90–100 days.

Herbicide Technology and Weed Control

The core advantage of this hybrid is its built-in compatibility with the Euro-Lightning herbicide system. This technical solution allows for comprehensive weed management, enabling the plant to focus its metabolic energy on grain filling rather than competing for nutrients and moisture during its short vegetative window.

Oil Content and Pathogen Resistance

• Oil Yield: The hybrid consistently delivers an oil content of 50–55%, meeting premium industry standards for processing efficiency.
• Fytosanitary Security: With genetics refined by experts A. I. Ignatenko and V. V. Kirichenko, the hybrid exhibits high resilience against rust and Phomopsis. This inherent resistance serves as a critical defense layer, reducing the reliance on aggressive fungicide applications even in regions with high disease pressure.

СХ 808 offers a balanced technical package for producers prioritizing high oil turnover and predictable yields through shorter vegetation cycles and modern chemical protection systems.
