DONSКОЙ 22 is a high-oil first-generation sunflower hybrid distinguished by its very early maturity and high adaptability to various climatic and soil conditions. The variety's vegetative period is about 100 days, allowing for harvest in a short time. Plants reach a height of 110 to 125 cm, which contributes to optimal development and seed formation with high oil content.

The variety is characterized by high oil content, reaching 46-54%, making it one of the highest oil sunflowers on the market. DONSКОЙ 22 has high drought resistance, ensuring stable growth and yield even under insufficient moisture conditions. Moreover, the variety is resistant to the complex of lodging (97-100%), powdery mildew, verticillium wilt, and sunflower budworm, which significantly reduces the risk of yield loss due to diseases.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various agro-climatic zones, including steppe and forest-steppe, with an optimal plant density of 35-40 thousand plants/ha for the steppe zone and 42-45 thousand plants/ha for the forest-steppe. The genetic yield potential is about 3.5 t/ha, reaching 17 c/ha in commercial crops, with the possibility of increasing up to 30 c/ha in favorable years.
