Sunflower variety "Nежность" is a medium-maturing hybrid characterized by high resistance to seven races and some new forms of the weed flea beetle, as well as to several diseases, including fusarium, phytophthora, gray mold, rust, and sunflower moth infestation. Plants reach a height of 160-170 cm, possess a strong root system and good leafiness. The stem is of medium thickness, and the head is thin and convex with a diameter of 22-23 cm. The 1000-seed weight is 60-70 g, and the oil content is 23-25%. The recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in the forest-steppe zone and 50-55 thousand per hectare in the steppe zone. Yield exceeds 50 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds reaching 48-50%, and protein content ranging from 16 to 19%. Hybrid "Nежность" is recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions due to its drought resistance and high productivity. Seeds exhibit resistance to modern herbicides such as Euro-Lightning, Vitalight, Genesis, Impex Duo, Device Ultra, and Euro-Land, facilitating crop care and enhancing plant protection efficiency. Optimal planting density allows for maximum utilization of the hybrid's potential and achieves high yields. Additionally, sunflower "Nежность" is valued for the taste qualities of its microgreens, which have a crisp, tender flavor with hints of sweet nut. Microgreens are rich in B vitamins, vitamin C, carotene, rutin, and microelements, providing general strengthening effects, improving digestion, sleep, and overall well-being, as well as helping to lower blood pressure. Sprouts help normalize the body's acid-base balance, strengthen the nervous system, improve skin and vision condition, and slow down aging processes. Sunflower microgreens stimulate appetite and can be used in combination with vegetable dishes, smoothies, and sandwiches. For germination, seeds should be soaked for 2-8 hours, germination time is 1-2 days, and microgreens can be harvested on day 8-10.
