Sunflower NA Dersan is a simple oilseed hybrid developed for conventional cultivation using SUMO technology. This hybrid has a medium vegetation period — from 96 to 112 days — enabling stable yields under various soil-climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 160–180 cm, possess a strong root system and medium stem thickness, ensuring resistance to lodging and drought. The flower head is thin and convex, with a diameter of 18–20 cm, and contains oval black-gray seeds. NA Dersan has a high yield potential — over 48 centners per hectare — and oil content in seeds reaching 49–51%, making it attractive for oil production. Seed oil content is 21–23%, facilitating efficient processing. The hybrid exhibits high growth intensity during early vegetation and excellent leafiness, promoting good photosynthesis and plant development. A key feature of this hybrid is its high genetic resistance to major sunflower diseases, including rust, LMV, Phomopsis, Phomoz, gray and white mold, as well as resistance to various strains of downy mildew (A, B, C, D, E, F). Additionally, NA Dersan is tolerant to sulfonylurea herbicides, simplifying weed control and improving agronomic efficiency. Plant stand density at harvest time is 52–55 thousand per hectare, optimal for achieving high yields.
