MAXIMUS SL

MAXIMUS SL is a late-maturing sunflower hybrid possessing high-oleic properties and developed using Clearfield and Clearfield Plus technologies. The plant is of medium height with a large dark green leaf and medium blistiness, without branching. The head is of medium size, semi-downward inclined, and slightly convex on the seed side. Seeds are narrowly egg-shaped, black in color with weak gray stripes. Average yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 21.9 centners/hectare, with oil content in seeds at approximately 48.7% and oleic acid content in oil reaching 85%, ensuring high product quality. The hybrid is distinguished by high tolerance to herbicides of the imidazolinone group and rust (races A-E), which significantly facilitates agronomic operations and enhances crop protection efficiency. MAXIMUS SL exhibits good initial growth energy and high drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including forest-steppe, steppe, and forest. Optimal sowing density varies depending on the zone's moisture levels: from 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture to 50-55 thousand plants per hectare with sufficient moisture. Furthermore, the hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to main sunflower diseases, such as Phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, and rust. For additional protection, MAXIMUS SL seeds can be treated with fungicidal and insecticidal preparations, ensuring reliable protection against fungal infections and insect pests. High oil content (50-51%) and resistance to adverse factors make this hybrid an attractive choice for intensive and sustainable sunflower production.
