EU ISABELLA is an early-maturing sunflower hybrid of French selection by the company «Euralis», distinguished by its high yield and adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions. The maturity period is 90-105 days, with plants reaching a height of about 150 cm and a head diameter of approximately 22 cm. The hybrid demonstrates very rapid initial growth, which promotes successful development even in challenging conditions. The mass of 1000 seeds is about 60 grams, and the oil content in the seeds varies from 49 to 51%, making it attractive for the production of oil products.
One of the key advantages of EU ISABELLA is its high resistance to various stress factors. The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to seven races of sunflower gall midge (A-G), which allows for successful cultivation on fields with a high level of infestation by this parasite without the need for additional chemical treatments. Moreover, EU ISABELLA is tolerant to drought, lodging, and most common sunflower diseases, including phoma, sclerotinia, phoma, and verticillium, which ensures a stable and high yield even under unfavorable weather conditions.
The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Polesie, Forest-steppe, and Steppe, confirming its plasticity and universality. The yield potential reaches 4.5-5 tons per hectare, making EU ISABELLA a profitable choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable sunflower crops. Thanks to the combination of high oiliness, disease and midge resistance, and adaptability to climatic conditions, this hybrid is an optimal solution for modern agrarians.
