ES Rosalia — a mid-season sunflower hybrid characterized by high productivity and resistance to various growing stress conditions. The vegetative period ranges from 106 to 125 days, depending on conditions, and plant height reaches 155-165 cm. The head diameter varies from 21 to 25 cm, with a semi-tilted position. The hybrid belongs to the linoleic type and is distinguished by high oil content — 48-49% — making it attractive for intensive cultivation technologies.

The ES Rosalia hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, including forest-steppe, steppe, and Polесьe zones. It exhibits high resistance to drought and lodging, confirmed by ratings of 9 and 8, respectively. Additionally, the hybrid is tolerant to 7 strains of ragweed (A-G), including strain F, and shows high resistance to diseases such as phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, rust, verticillium wilt, and false powdery mildew. These traits ensure stable yields and reduce risks of losses under adverse conditions.

ES Rosalia is intended for intensive cultivation using classical herbicide technology. The recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand under adequate moisture. The hybrid’s yield potential reaches 50 centners per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality sunflower yields.
