ES TOUNDRA

The ES TOUNDRA hybrid sunflower is a high-yield oilseed variety with a potential yield of up to 40 centners per hectare. Plants reach an average height of about 165 cm and have a flower head diameter of approximately 23 cm. Seeds have a 100-seed weight of about 60 g and an oil content of 48-49%, making this hybrid attractive for high-quality oil production.

One of the key features of ES TOUNDRA is its high resistance to various diseases and pests. The hybrid shows tolerance to phomopsis, head and stem sclerotinia, verticillium wilt, as well as resistance to downy mildew and aggressive disorders of type A-G. Additionally, the variety exhibits high drought tolerance and good plasticity, allowing successful cultivation in both dry and adequately watered regions.

Agronomic characteristics of the hybrid include a strong root system and high leafiness, which contribute to efficient soil resource utilization and increased yield. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare for dry regions and 60-65 thousand plants per hectare for adequately watered regions.
