NILIN

Linseed oil crop variety NILIN is a mid-early maturing crop with a unique fatty-acid composition of the oil, characterized by a low linolenic acid content, varying from 2.8 to 15.2%. This makes the oil of this variety an attractive alternative to sunflower oil, especially in regions where sunflower is not cultivated. NILIN oil is suitable for food use and is distinguished by high oxidative stability, which ensures its resistance to oxidation.

The variety is characterized by high oilseed content, reaching 45-46%, and a potential yield of up to 21 centners per hectare. The seeds are brown in color, the mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 5.3 grams, and the plant height reaches 85 cm. The optimal plant density at harvest is 650-700 plants per square meter. The variety develops quickly in the early stages of vegetation and responds well to a high agro-climate background.

NILIN has high resistance to the main diseases of flax, including fusarium wilt, anthracnose, polysporosis, and bacteriosis, which significantly reduces the risk of yield loss. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, such as the Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Middle Volga, and West Siberian regions. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, NILIN is a promising choice for producing linseed oil in diverse climatic conditions.
