The «Karavan» sunflower is a product of rigorous scientific research conducted by the VNIIMK Federal Research Center. Developed with the participation of Yakov Nikolaevich Demurin, this variety was designed to meet the need for consistency within temperate continental climates. «Karavan» is classified as a mid-ripening variety with a vegetation period ranging from 120 to 130 days. This makes it an optimal solution for farms seeking a balance between maturation speed and biomass accumulation. The plants reach heights of 190–200 cm, ensuring a robust leaf canopy and efficient photosynthesis.

• Oil Content: High oil levels (45–50%) make the variety economically attractive for the processing industry.
• Phytosanitary Resilience: A key feature of «Karavan» is its pronounced resistance to white mold. Its genetically embedded immunity helps reduce the need for fungicide applications against rust and powdery mildew.
