SUVEX

SUVEX — this is a mid-early hybrid sunflower of linoleic type, developed for cultivation using SU (sulfur) technology. It is characterized by high yield and is adapted for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions, including semi-intensive and extensive farming systems. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 50 centners/ha (5 tons/ha), making it an attractive choice for farmers seeking a stable and high yield.

The SUVEX hybrid exhibits high drought resistance, enabling successful cultivation in regions with insufficient moisture. It is not prone to lodging and shattering, which facilitates harvesting and reduces yield losses. The seed size ranges from 17 to 21 cm, promoting the formation of large seeds. The recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 45-55 thousand plants/ha under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand/ha under adequate moisture.

SUVEX demonstrates low susceptibility to major diseases of oilseed crops, including gray and white mold, false powdery mildew, phomopsis, and phomosis. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to parasitic weeds, particularly various races of volunteer weeds from A to F. It also shows high tolerance to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl, which facilitates weed control and enhances the effectiveness of agronomic practices.
