Sunflower ANNIVERSARY 75 is a medium-early, intensive hybrid developed in 1989, intended for cultivation under various soil-climatic conditions, including the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. The plant reaches a height of 160–180 cm, is non-branching, has medium-sized green leaves with fine serration. Flowers are yellow, the head is medium-sized with a curved stem and slightly convex seed side. Seeds are narrowly egg-shaped, medium-thick, with dark base color and clearly marked gray stripes. The hybrid is characterized by high yield: average regional yields range from 13.5–18.5 c/ha, with maximum yields reaching 31–32 c/ha. Oil content in the seeds is 45.2–45.3%, enabling oil collection within 5.9–6.7 c/ha. The oil features high oleic acid content (86–87%), improving its quality and resistance to oxidation even under unfavorable harvesting conditions and prolonged storage. Due to these properties, ANNIVERSARY 75 is the earliest maturing among high-oleic hybrids of the company. The hybrid possesses high stability and competitiveness, especially in areas with unstable and insufficient moisture. It is resistant to downy mildew strains A-D, enhancing harvest reliability. Cultivation technology is conventional; the hybrid is easy to manage and recommended for wide application in agriculture. The breeder of the variety is LLC NPP «AGROSEMSERVICE».
