FT 2603 IMI

FT 2603 IMI is a sunflower hybrid designed for cultivation under extreme conditions with high yield. It belongs to the medium-early maturity group and has a vegetation period of approximately 108 days. The seeds have a high oil content — around 49-50% — making this hybrid attractive for oil production. The yield potential reaches up to 5.5 tons per hectare, equivalent to 55 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity.

The hybrid is resistant to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, enabling effective use of the Granstar cultivation technology. Additionally, FT 2603 IMI exhibits high resistance to new strains of false powdery mildew, resistance to up to 7 strains of the parasitic plant dodder, as well as high resistance to root diseases and white rot. These traits ensure reliable crop protection and contribute to stable high yields.

To control annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, it is recommended to apply herbicide during the 2 to 8-leaf stage of sunflower growth at a rate of 1.2 liters of solution per hectare. The herbicide is suitable for use in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones and provides effective weed control at various growth stages of the crop. Seed packaging is available in quantities of 150,000 seeds per planting unit.
