KWS ACER CL

KWS Acer CL sunflower is a medium-maturing, high-yielding hybrid developed for cultivation under the Clearfield system. It is distinguished by resistance to various biotypes of the parasitic weed ragweed (A, B, C, D, E), making it especially valuable for Ukrainian farms where this threat is significant. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all soil-climatic zones of Ukraine, ensuring stable yields under varying conditions.

KWS Acer CL plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, with a flower head diameter of 17-21 cm. Seeds are characterized by high oil content — up to 50-52% — enhancing their economic value. The hybrid exhibits tolerance to several diseases, including phomopsis, phomosis, and false powdery mildew, which helps reduce yield losses and lowers crop protection costs.

The recommended planting density for the hybrid is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 45-55 thousand per hectare in less watered zones. The yield potential exceeds 5 tons per hectare, making KWS Acer CL an advantageous choice for farmers aiming for high productivity and product quality.
