Flash

Flash — ultra-early Serbian sunflower hybrid developed for cultivation under the Granstar herbicide technology. This hybrid is characterized by rapid early vegetative growth, ensuring excellent adaptation to extensive cultivation conditions. Thanks to its high drought and heat tolerance, Flash performs successfully even in regions with unfavorable climatic conditions, such as the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe of Ukraine.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to major diseases, including downy mildew (A–G+), significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The vegetative period is 90–95 days, enabling record yields within a short timeframe. The yield potential reaches 50–54 centners per hectare with stable oil content in seeds at 50–53%. Its flexibility in sowing dates and ability to adjust plant density according to soil moisture levels make Flash a versatile solution for various agroclimatic conditions.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to maintain optimal plant density at harvest: 55–60 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture and 45–50 thousand plants per hectare in dry conditions. High oil content and stable performance metrics make Flash an attractive choice for farmers aiming for efficient and sustainable sunflower production.
